Never Say Never!

I only needed a simple phone, just for calls and something with decent sound for some nifty ringtones. That's all.
I'm not a texter; I don;'t really like texting and I'm not very fast with it either. I'm better with a keyboard.

That is until just a little while ago. I came to realize how used to texting I was when I the fact that my 1 key on my phone wasn't responding very well. It pissed me off because it was the symbol key and I had to cycle through tons of symbols to get to things like commas. I hate not punctuating or not abbreviating.

So when we found out that I was due for an upgrade I lept on it. They showed me a few phones with keypads (one with a touch screen, which I didn't like either). And then they showed me one called the enV3 (like envy, heh). It's, brand new, I guess and I loved it.
This thing is nuts; I can type a mile a minute  with my thumbs thanks to the iPod, the sound is loud and really good, the visual quality is great and the camera on this thing is 3.5 megapixels. And it has GPS.... FREAKIN' GPS! Whenever I call out or get a call it tells me the town and state the caller is calling from. Or it could be where the caller is from, but I assume the latter because of the GPS.
It even has built in apps for blogs and stuff which I may consider using. I'll never forget Tubbysnuggles' entry about what she thinks of Twitter though. XD It still cracks me up!

I'm not a phone person, I usually use this space to brag about dollies... but man this thing is cool! Phones sure have come a long way, yeesh. I was also told that Verizon will be getting the iPhone sometime next year. That might be interesting. By then I'll have another upgrade, but I dunno about it since I have the iPod touch. We'll see XD

phone, squee
