Lucy was being serious when she said the door was in the storage closet; what she hadn't mentioned was that it lead into the storage closet, rather than out. Sure, it's a criminal's storage closet, but it still has a mop and bucket in it. Also, it's only about five feet square from wall to wall, so things are a bit close at the moment.

Tanya lives in an old bunker... she is not one to complain about tight spaces.

Besides, she enjoys the fact she is very close to another girl, a pretty, strong and no-nonsense one (as far as she knows).

No, she did not cope a feel, the brushing was accidental.

"Close quarters, huh?" Lucy grins, not at all shy about having a clandestine make-out before things get serious. They've got a couple of days to kill, after all.

Tanya smiles, nodding a bit... "Hmm a bit cramped, dark... accidents happen?" Blushing a bit, she looks down. "Sorry... I... hmm, am more used to people reacting very bad to any hints that I have, diferent tastes."

Lucy shakes her head, touching Tanya's shoulder reassuringly. "Here the only thing we really have to worry about is explaining how you got into the lair without triggering the security system."

The time passes so pleasantly that it's difficult to remember there's a business deal in the offing.

Lucy Diamond's gang has sold a shipment of guns to an Australian para-military group in the Outback, but that organization refuses to accept anything but the specific hardware that only Sapphire's group can supply.

Rather than give up the deal, Lucy will be doing the negotiations, with a few trusted friends on hand to keep Shari Sapphire from, well, anything really.

So there's Lucy, Scud, a couple of heavily armed mercenaries, and the prettiest and most deadly German sharpshooter this side of the end of the universe. They're all in a jet-chopper, running full bore towards the rendezvous point. Body armor was passed out at takeoff, but hopefully it won't be necessary.

Hopefully.

Hopefully; Tanya is hoping it will not be needed, but expecting trouble all the same. Her guns are clean and loaded, and she is relaxed enough.

Also, she is more at ease around the mercs, and is even able to chat and banter casually with them while they fly...

But unless Lucy is doing the piloting, she is holding the other woman's hand all the time or most of it at least.

Oh she could pilot, but that's not where she wants to be just now anyway. Holding Tanya's hand is the right place, in a chopper or otherwise.

There's another chopper keeping pace; cargo-carrier, but empty, ready for a successful deal. Both are skimming the waves, carefully avoiding local radar arrays and staying out of sight of fishing vessels.

Luckily, the old Schaffer lair has a couple of hangars with stealth doors, so they wouldn't be exposed for long.

A smile is offered to Lucy, along with a light kiss. Soon... she nods to herself when they go into the hidden doors, good security measures seem to please her. "Hm... ten bucks says there will be some double-crossing." The kind of bet she does hoping to be wrong.
