(no subject)
so i leave tomorrow morning to go up camping. this is the first time in years that i am not taking a friend with me, for a variety of reasons (most having to do with opposing work schedules). that means one of two things... either it's going to be wonderful and quiet and restful, and i'll come back feeling utterly refreshed and rejuvenated. or, dad will drive me completely nuts, to the point that i'll want to throw myself off a bridge (no worries, if i do decide to carry through on this, it's only abuot 5 feet above the water, and rather fun to jump from, more of a stress relief than anything else), and i'll come home looking to be out of this house before he gets back. i'm hoping for the former, and have only a slight dread that the latter will come to pass.
i just went out and bought a new bathing suit. two-piece, a little tank thingy, comfortable and sporty but still cute. first two piece i've owned by choice since i was about 7.
i'm waiting for a call from erika right now, probably within the next couple hours. and hopefully by the time i crash out tonight, i'll be the possessor of a ticket to virginia. if not, will follow up when i get back home. not gonna worry about that too much for now.
i need to finish my laundry and get to packing.
