My days at work...
I do tons of things to keep myself sane during the day, or just to kill time...
I love to scramble names of movies for customers to see if they catch it..I.E..Reading them outloud as I scan them...
" Bipolar Express, March of the Hazzard, Dukes Of Penguins, Mr. and Mrs. Kranks, Christmas with the Smiths, and The Four Brothers Grimm..."
Straight outta Empire Records for the Holiday season..." Block/Gamerush _city__, Open till Midnight...MIDNIGHT."
Whenever someone I know rents 24, when I hand it to them as they exit.." 24 season 3 disc 3 is due back in 48 hours or I'm going detonate a bomb in a Russian Nuclear Facility..."
I'll sometimes hold the phone arms length away when I answer it...
Once during the 360 fiasco I was sick of people calling to ask if we had any 360's in, so I just edited my answer to phone calls to include " where we no longer have any X-box 360's, how can I help you?" Luck would have it, the SM called and I answer that way..and he's all " Tell me you KNEW it was me.." I replied.." Yah, of course, that's why I answered like that.." Man, I think he actually beleived me...
I'll refer to many VERY non kid-appropriate movies as Children's Programming, or if they are returning some graphic movie and have a kid with them, I'll ask if the kid enjoyed said ( devil's rejects..) movie..
Sometimes if I hear how a co-worker answer the phone, the next time they answer the phone, i stand real close to them and say the exact same thing that they're saying into the phone...
