Back in California and full of maple syrup
Back home and totally refreshed! To anyone who got my texts from the tree episode, yeah, I'm free like an eagle, letting my spirit carry me... Not thanks to you, Dad. Just so you know.
Gus and I had a lot of fun in Canada! We got ourselves 4 boxes of that amazing (and dangerously addictive, no kidding) Maple Candy that's totally the rage in Toronto, an international art thief, several moose plushies in mountie uniforms, a rug made of camel hair, a real mountie hat, 378 photos and 2 videos. Vancouver was seriously awesome, it almost felt like being at home.
The road trip to Ontario... Not so cool. I guess the stars were against us or something. First, we couldn't swim with the polar bears like we looked forward to. That sucked. Big time. It felt like being told that Santa isn't real and that Milli Vanilli didn't sing their songs all over again. D:
And then the tree incident. How's one supposed to know that Canada is the only place in the world were children games are forbidden?? I mean, I was climbing a tree, not jumping on the top to make it fall down.
Just bouncing a little on one of the branches, that's all.
Ren, my man, it was good to see you again, big buddy. Next time it's your turn to come and visit!
