I really hate the airlines right now...specifically America Airlines.
The only airline that does an "unaccompanied minor" thing for my son is AA. Since he's 15, we cant get the same thing from any other airline, even though he's a bit of a special needs kid... His running nickname is "Butterfly on crack". The kid gets distracted easier than a kid with ADHD in a funhouse. Now that being said...
He spent 12 hours stuck in the Dallas Fort Worth airport yesterday, thanks to AA cancelling his connecting flight to Amarillo.
Yes, I said cancel.
So they dumped him in a room with some other kidsn who were also UM's, even though most of them are half his age, and I'm still trying to get the full info from that side... whether they fed him or made him use the $20 I gave him "just in case" or what.
I don't even know if they got his suitcase with no problems yet.
Does anyone know the CEO's email address? My wife is coming up with a nice draft to send out about this.
