Brian went back to work last week, and today his team surprised him with this baby gift:

Ezri really, really loves the similar swings (yes, we own two of them!) we have at home. It's often the only place she will be willing to nap in other than in someone's arms. She's now at an age where she likes to stare at the mobile and reach for the objects.
I guess we now have swing #3! We think we'll keep it and stick it in the bonus room. That room is fairly isolated from the rest of the house, but we like to spend time there with the gaming systems and elliptical. Now we'll have a safe and entertaining baby area for her, instead of placing her in the crib and grabbing a monitor.
In other news, Ezri seems to enjoy sleeping solidly from 2 am to 6 am each night, all by herself in the crib. Yay! Sadly, she also is very, very awake and a bit fussy from the hours of 10 pm until she falls asleep at 2 am. Oy. Thank goodness for naps in the daytime (for both mommy and baby).
