I just want to say Thank You. My life is so blessed. I'm bursting with joy, despite some understandable fatigue.
Joe and Judy left late this afternoon (my brother was awesome and drove them to the airport so we could rest). They were such a great help! My kitchen was always spotless and she held and took care of Ezri so Brian and I could have long, uninterrupted naps when possible. It'll be just Brian and myself (and Richard) until my mom arrives late on Thursday. I think we'll survive. Richard is slowly learning to not be afraid of holding baby Ezri, and was up with me at 5 am holding her so I could take a bathroom break.
Ezri is doing really well. She sadly has a bit of night/day confusion, but otherwise eats and sleeps well. My milk came in just fine, and she's wetting and soiling diapers like a pro.
I'm a bit surprised how quickly my body is recovering. For once, my wonky system is actually performing really well!
Brian has been wonderful beyond words. If I try to explain further, I'll end up tearing up again. <3.
Next week we'll probably start welcoming visitors at home.
