My parents are downstairs screaming their heads off at each other about a vacation my father wants to take. Frankly, I don't want to go. Even if my family could manage to spend more than a few minutes in each other's company without a fight erupting, I don't really want to go away this close to starting college.

I can't wait for college to start. I really need to get out of here, and they're only making it easier.
