So I had a fairly crazy day.
1. My mum woke me around 11am this morning. I got up and did some unpacking, thus rendering my room looking much worse than it did before I started.
2. My mum and I went furniture shopping! We tried out practically every chair in the Cabot House fancy-pants furniture store. Then we went over to the most bizarre furniture store I've ever seen. I mean, how many furniture stores are there with an IMAX theatre and an indoor reproduction of a New Orleans street. Pretty awesome.
3. Then we went to Bed, Bath, & Beyond which was very disappointing. They had no decent twin-size sheets at all. It was really irritating because they're whole thing is that they want people to go there and buy supplies for dorm rooms. I'm sorry, but what colleges have they been going to where they've seen dorm rooms with King and Queen size beds?
4. This evening, we all went to Friendly's for ice cream. The host guy apparently thought I was about twelve because he brought us the kids menu (for kids 12 & under), crayons, and the coloring thing. At first, I was offended. But then, after I'd had my ice cream and was totally hyped up on sugar, it wasn't so bad. I had great fun with the anagrams on the kids menu. In fact, I had so much fun that I tore the section out of the kids menu so that I could bring them home and share them with you.
