Me Against the Mosquito
So this mammoth mosquito has been buzzing around my bathroom for the past two days.
It's terrible! It's making me totally paranoid! I'm afraid to shower!
It sits there on the wall - mocking me - while I side-step around it, trying to put as much distance between myself and the dreaded insect. It just sits there, for hours, as if to say, "Come on. Swat me. I dare you."
So finally, I say, "That's it! I can't take it! You're going down, vile insect!"
I grab up my shampoo bottle and, weilding the Garnier Nutrisse like a club, I swat viciously at the mosquito. And at the last moment, the mosquito moves - and I'm sure it's laughing at me. So I end up just beating my shampoo against the wall, swearing profusely...my accent coming back more heavily with every second.
This has happened at least five times today. This can't go on! I'm being harassed - by an insect!
I'm most distressed by this.
Not to mention that all his buddies in the garden ganged up on me and tore my hands to shreds this evening while I was watering the plants. And I have very sensitive skin! I'm all itchy now.
It hurts!
