New strategy for battling 3pm sleepiness in the office

The other day I didn't get enough sleep and I had an appointment with my personal trainer that I couldn't cancel. I was literally nodding off at my desk right before our appointment, so I decided to cheat and got some coffee.

I was really killing it at our session, doing everything stronger, better, longer. And then I admitted to my trainer that I had some coffee right before our session.

My PT wasn't happy that I cheated... so she gave me an awesome tip for battling mid-afternoon sleepiness: do some push-ups.

I've been meaning to check if it works a couple of times now, but every time I make an attempt, the bathroom is full of other people... I can't really drop on the floor and just do 20 in front of my coworkers (instead I'd rather write about it).

A few minutes ago, I finally found some privacy, and yes, I just did 20 push-ups (not the girly knees on the floor style, the real deal). I feel more energized already.
