Yesterday I had a nice surprise. I was met by my 11 year old daughter and she gave me one of your wonderful pamphlets. You know the one with the woman exposing her breasts on it? This was left on my door at an apartment complex here in Gainesville. For adult or child to find it really didn't matter to your company. I just wanted to politely inform you that both my daughter and I were not amused. I also wanted to inform you that even though there is a thin layer of smoke in front of the woman's breasts, your company is in violation of the law with this pamphlet. Florida Statute 847.012 to be exact, also Florida Statute 847.001(6)-9 According to Florida Statute 847.001(6)-9 The definition of something being “Harmful to minors” is and I quote “Harmful to minors means any reproduction, imitation, characterization, description, exhibition, presentation, or representation, of whatever kind or form, depicting nudity, sexual conduct, or sexual excitement. Nudity means the showing of the human male or female genitals, pubic area, or buttocks with less than a fully opaque covering; or the showing of the female breast with less than a fully opaque covering of any portion thereof below the top of the nipple. Your flyer would probably cause no problem in the downtown bar scene. That's were the adults are at. The apartment complexes around here believe it or not, there are little things running all around them called children. I know that this comes as a complete shock to you that not only college students live here, but also families. Surely you just didn't know, surely you weren't in violation of the law like that on purpose. I'm in the middle of working on something myself now. I'm going around this complex, which has about 260 FAMILIES residing in it. I'm going to ask each one of them what they think of this and I'm going to ask each one of them to boycott your store. The next this happens the police will be called and your company will be dealing with them. Have a nice day"
