I got a new video maker for Christmas and this is the result.

This song, with it's nearly Zombie-chasing lyrics seemed ideal for the action pieces of Doctor Who. It's also about the heart, so I had to use it for a Doctor Who video.

I started by thinking about how the fear and excitement is what attracts Rose to life with the Doctor. And the opportunities travelling with him gives her to explore her heart, in this case, how her father is a strong influence especially in his death and how she fears being left behind by him.

I also looked at how she gets what she wants from the scenario, in a confidence way and in the way of the Doctor.

I moved focus from her to the Doctor, going from the way he wanted Rose to change his life and how his life changed after she was taken from him.

Martha also figures strongly in this, as she was the one who was there with him as he recovered.

Jenny finishes the job, making his heart beat again and finally, there's River Song who doesn't represent his future but the part of him that never gives up, maybe showing the true heart of him.
