Bleh......
I'm sure none of you are wondering what I'm up to, but here it is all the same!
I will not be staying in/going to school in Oregon. I was planning to but that's fallen through because...well my dad is moving and having to pay the room and board fees just don't seem worthwhile. SO, the updated cavernous plan I've fallen into is simply to go to school in Anchorage, where I started in the first place, and where it will be least expensive. In two or three years I'll knock a degree out, and have many waiting doorways.
In a less future and more immediate past sense, I've been more or less landlocked in the house. Walking the insane dog is the high point of my day, even if I hate doing it. Last night, for example I spent six hours on a typing program, out of sheer boredom. The night before that I finally sat down and read The Giver, which to some people might feel like an accomplishment of sorts. Jonas froze to death by the way, I don't even see how that's supposed to be open to interpretation, unless the interpreter is a Hollywood producer. I'd guess that it strikes a middle ground between 1984 and Brave New World, but I haven't read 1984 yet either.
My mom's Birthday is tomorrow...
