I did all my reading and pwr pts yesterday and then Miguel was home today so I got to run away and go do the rest of my work at the university. Work work work. Then after lunch I graded my exams. Grade grade grade. And now, I'm all done :D
Tonight is dinner with the cool kids. Think we're doing Lomelli's? I dunno, I'm not in charge. I just have to show up and eat (CHOMP!) Weird, I just realized we started a new Friday Family Dinner crew. New family, new restaurant, but still fun to have traditions.
I wanted to go to Disney after dinner but it's stupid closed for stupid Mickey's stupid halloween stupid party. Stupid Mickey and his stupid halloween stupid party. Maybe tomorrow? Or sunday if we get back at a decent time from san diego.
We're heading down to san diego for grandpa's 95th birthday. Good googley moogley! You're freakin old grandpa! I'm not sure how much he's still all there. He often drifts between english and spanish without warning, thinks Abby is a boy, and apparently says really raunchy stuff in spanish - but I don't understand enough to be offended/enjoy it. All I know is he always asks me "How'd you get so purdy?" and that's ok with me.
If it's grandpa's birthday then this weekend must be Frozen Fury. The last one as I hear it. I miss the fun parts of being in vegas and being shit crocked and stumbling around the casinos with Melissa. Good god in heaven I'm still not sure how we survived that last trip :D
But I definitely don't miss the drive out and back. Way too old for that shit. It was fun in our 20s. Not so much as old people.
And then that means hockey starts very very soon :D Yay hockey!
