I agree with you on this one. Maybe it's because I don't really understand the obsession with celebrities to begin with, but I just don't see what the hell the big deal is and why people care THAT much.

I laughed for a minute, pure schadenfreude, then I got back to my regularly scheduled blissful ignorance.

I am glad to hear, however, that at least one judge believes that celebrities aren't any different than anyone else, and don't deserve coddling when they break the law, willfully and repeatedly.
