if you have never heard of galaxy zoo, i feel compelled to tell you about it. it is a website where after you register, you classify pictures of galaxies from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. people are better than computers for this kind of task and the more people who participate, the more accurate the data. they cite people on papers and posters sometimes for their help. i think it is awesome.

i need to study some more for my advanced mechanics and astrophysics & cosmology tests on monday and tuesday but my brain feels full from studying earlier today.
