Hey everyone! Happy New Year!
As many of you know, I've been going to PT for my hip surgery. A lot of my appointments are right after lunch, and I'm travelling an hour to get there. I'm looking for something portable that can be consumed on the go. I tried an Atkins chocolate shake, but it was disgusting. Facebook friends suggested Kind Bars, but I'm not sure about them. Someone else suggested Ensure, but I haven't checked the sugar content of those.
Can anyone recommend something that would be good for diabetics that doesn't contain a lot of grains or fiber? (They tear my stomach up! I'd rather not eat something that will make me gassy before I go to PT! haha) How about the Glucerna products? Are they worth the cost?
Thanks for any suggestions! I'm working hard to get/keep those numbers down!
