Newbie!

Well, new to the group, nonetheless.

Basic info:

Name: Amanda/BlueFalconChick
Age: 25 (Birthday is 01-01-1983)
Type I / Type II?: Type I. Diagnosed February 09, 1990.

Here goes nothing-I'm pretty muscular. Like, you really can't pinch fat on me...Except around my tummy. Now, I have a layer of muscle OVER that fat which makes it difficult to pinch fat there, but IT IS STILL THERE.

So, onward with the question...This may only be rumor-control, but I was told by a friend (who practices homeopathic medicine), that the reason I collect weight around my middle is because I usually take my insulin injections either in my stomach and that the insulin injections are the reason for the weight gathering there...

So-Anybody know-Fact or fiction?
