tired as usual and an american idol rant
this was what i posted yesterday on xanga: well it's 11:26 PM and i should be asleep, but i just took a shower and i'm awake.... PLUS i am a bit mad about american idol.
besides me did anyone else see it?!?!?!? i think i must be the only one out of the people i know who watches the show besides my friend liz.
well the 3 women, the divas, from last night were in the BOTTOM three!!!!!!!!!!!! GAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! they were ALL VERY good and even the judges were shocked. fantasia, latoya, and jennifer were by far the best; but, somehow they were the bottom 3. wtf is up with that!?!?! i mean the other 2 girls, diana and jasmine, were great too but i didn't think they were as good as the other three.
the redhead, john, is still in there! i dunno what is wrong with america.... we're supposed to pick the best not the WORST. ok so maybe his performance last night wasn't so bad, but he just shouldn't be in the competition. jennifer hudson had a huge range in vocals and john had nowhere near that at all. i just don't understand! i'm beginning to think that the older folks, more like baby boomers and seniors, like the redhead and are voting him in. this is sad... at this rate we'll get an american idol who sings oldies.
i expected jennifer, latoya, and fantasia to be the top 3 in the end. and maybe george huff since he's so adorable. this is a huge shock and the judges were shocked too. jennifer better get some sort of record deal!
well beyond that i am hoping my little friends made it to florida safely and that they're having fun. i know the weather here is great so they shouldn't be unhappy.
i have a lit test tomorrow.... oh shit.... oh well! *shrugs* no big deal (although i dunno 1/3 of the words i'm supposed to).
