hm, sorry, did not quite get it. Did you mean have I tasted local food there, "пробовал ли я местную еду"?) in this case: yes, of course) I like local meals... especially European cuisine - it is more or less harmless)) In case of Germany and Austria - any kind of meat is usually quite delicious (Vienna schnitzels are the best, but other meals are good also. Solid and tasty)), and in Salsburg in addition i'd especially recommend local bakery. Apple strudels are wonderful with coffee or tea) And very, very tasty seafood in Venice! Yammy) Delicious ice cream (actually in two days we ate I guess more than 2kg of it) and seafood in Florence) Milano - nothing interesting. I guess it is so "business centre" that it does not have anything really traditional or special. Just... normal food. And much worse than in here actually))
"пробовал ли я местную еду"? Yes, that is what I was trying to say - my apologies! I like your phrase more or less harmless, as opposed to Tex-Mex cuisine which can be harmful.
You must have loved the ice cream, I don't think I can eat a Kilo by myself. I have wanted to try Austrian Strudel, I've come close here in America, but not in Vienna. I love schnitzel too)).
I'm happy you both had a wonderful adventure. And the game system looks interesting too.
there will be more posts about Italy, so, stay on our channel!)
You mean, Coffin Rock thing? It is board-game based on Savage Worlds ruled in Deadlands setting)) Basically, Deadlands is alternative Wild West, where civil war was never ended (state of cease-fire), indians were not sent into reservations and old magic (all manitous and other interesting stuff) manifested in the world again) Here is more detailed info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deadlands#Setting
if you are interested in pure board games, system is quite simple itself, and settings are really interesting, starting with Deadlands or Victorian age ("Reapers" setting, https://www.peginc.com/product-category/rippers/) and ending with pure fantasy or sci-fi worlds)
I keep watching - and I'll set my DVR to record all the beauty of Italy.
Yep, that's what I mean! I saw Crys' post on Coffin Rock and yes, I've not played a strategic board game in a long time - so I would be interested in trying.
well, it is not purely strategic, more like horror-western. But, true, depends on scenario and game master. I personally prefer horror, and for that setting is perfect) I mean, the whole thing is actually about fear. More fear = more food for monsters) So manitous are only really interested in increasing fear levels in the long term

" I personally consider best of all I have seen to this point - especially for beginner players and GM, because it allows free-play (as players can choose where they want to go, that sweet illusion of freedom :) and contains both good story and action. Takes something like 7-10 hours for first-time players for main quest only, and if GM wants he can expand it to a week session).
Sounds like a good system, flexible and easy to get into. 7 to 10 hours you are just starting a good game with four good and funny friends; 7 to 10 sessions is better )) I used to play a lot, Axis and Allies (the tactical not the board), Traveler, D&D (9th level Mage - Chaotic good), Starfleet Battles.
Have you got a group that is campaigning in Deadlands?
//Have you got a group that is campaigning in Deadlands?
seems so. 3-4 players... I'll take "The flood" campaign, maybe starting with some small quest again just for players to be sure that characters are OK, because we are all quite new in that setting)
//7 to 10 sessions
well... campaigns if played properly are something like one year of regular sessions I guess)) and anyway you insert other adventures into points campaign)

Four players is just right, anything more and the GM may become maniacal or not enough fun for all the players. It's a starting place for a regular group.

At least 1 year; perhaps if you add side adventures or vacations/holidays 18 months. Just enough to build strategy for yourself and keep the GM on their toes..
So, will you master that also?) Maybe apprentice this skill.)) Not enough of the old gamers left near my home, without at long 2 hour drive; the Capitol, Oklahoma City, still has a die-hard core of gamers to form a good campaign.
