I've given my characters a healthy dose of Veritaserum and now they have to tell the truth. What does this mean for you? Ask my characters questions about anything and everything and they will truthfully answer it. So, go ahead and ask what you want. He can't beat around the bush with half-truths.

but the things she recognizes in him coupled with how he interests her and makes her laugh and a hundred other little things forced her to see him as a whole person instead of a temporarily amusing bauble - while, interestingly enough, he seemed to be actively avoiding being seen that way. so you could say lo kept after him out of curiosity; he didn't fit into her boxes and she couldn't work out why. she enjoyed his company and accepted his weirdness, but it was so strange to her that she did so she'd keep doing it in the hopes of one day working out why.
eventually the "why" was because she loved him, which she more or less ignored (it didn't figure into her plans) until she got pregnant, at which point she actually sat down with like, flowcharts on her laptop and thought it out and decided that the best thing for her to do would be tell him that she would require child support but not expect anything else and book a flight home.
...aaaaand then he surprised her. she hadn't figured "monty loves lo back" into her plans, either, and she adjusted accordingly.
