So, at spock_uhura someone posted this list of "25 Women Who Shook Sci-Fi", i.e.
Some are striking for their leadership and bravery, others for their incredible sexiness, many for both. [...] the 25 most important SF & fantasy heroines of all time. We've limited ourselves to TV and film - SF and fantasy literature probably warrants a further list all of its own - and in those instances where multiple actresses have portrayed a character, we’ve written who we believe gave the most definitive performance in brackets.
go and take a look... Sarah Connors it's a tie in the first place with Ripley... no way she is only 5th! that was a 1984 movie! who better than her is the prototype of a badass woman during all the 80 and 90's sci-fi movie?
Why is Claire "MARY SUE EXTRAORDINAIRE" Bennet (appropriate
fifmeister's definition) included in this list? Just because sadly she can't die, that doesn't mean she is brave or a leader or... sexi...? Why that girl from Transfomer is included in this list too? And both outranking Xena or Sydney Bristow? are you kidding me?
Where the hell are Zoe and the other Firefly ladies? Where is Mace from Strange Days? Trinity from Matrix? Nikita from Luc Besson movie???
That said... I'm one step from becoming a Ryan Hansen fangirl. Seriously. If you liked the video I've posted few days ago... you'll LOVE the Making of...
