I'm thinking it might have to do with Elle.
As he faked her death earlier but she isn't where she's supposed to be.

Or he is sick of all the lies and will keep them there til he gets the truth.

OR he is forcing therapy on everyone.

the writers said (behind the eclipse) something like "sylar will gain an ability and discover the truth about the drowning". I think he will gain the haitian power, and recover his own memory.

What about Bridget's ability.
Remember Angela gave her to him at the beginnig of the season.
Her ability was to see something's history.

I totally forget her! but i think bridget was just a tribute to british viewer: she was a character of the heroes 360° at BBC heroes site...

Ah yes but why would Angela go through all the trouble of giving her to Gabriel if her ability wouldn't come in handy?
He did make a comment to Claire about having felt her pain before Bennet told him to shut the F up.
And Angela with her visions could probably have known that Arthur would tell him something like that.

after 3.09, i think sylar felt claire pain through empathy, but it could be bridget power too...

I think Bridget's power came out and he relived her fear of the attack, because he was touching her.
He really hasn't touched many people this season.
And Angela almost touched him but pulled her hand back in 3x03.

saddly he got his revenge... mess up with sylar mind and he kill her... oh i hate HRG! (but I love Jack Coleman... :))
