By now you know me, if I like an actor/actress, I must see everything they've done... Before the summer the last *love* was Michael Weatherly. The Italian television with its Dark Angel and NCIS re-run during the summer had fed my obsession... I'm waiting for Charlie Valantine DVD, meanwhile I've finally found "The Mystery of Natalie Wood", where ( Read more... )

Oooooohhhhh, I'm so jealous! "Natalie Wood" was one of those I wasn't able to get my hot little hands on for capping, which is a shame judging by the gifs. Nice work tho. I'm very impressed!

Thanks for sharing @ MWF!!!

Don't be jealous! You have all those other works he did I will never find...
Yes, he is really pretty and did a great job... and you should see him in those awful 70/80 clothes and hair-do,,, I could cap some, but I usually do it manually and I don't have too much time...
how do you do your capping?

beside, my Charlie Valentine DVD just arrived and I would make some gif from that too ;)

You are welcome!

*smiles* Mostly I got lucky. I tracked down what I could, but some of his more obscure films still elude me.

I'm sure he did a wonderful job; Michael always gives a stellar performance & unfortunately, period pieces do come packaged with styles of the era. Manual capping is a pain, but depending on how much screen-time Michael has, I can usually do it in the length of the film time or less. My capping technique varies, based on whether I want the entire film or not.

Where are you located? It's possible you could send me the disc & I could do the capping for you. If that proves too difficult, I could probably teach you some tricks. It's not the capping that's complicated or time-consuming so much; it's actually the packaging, uploading & promoting the caps after the fact that takes the most time for me.

I'll be capping Charlie Valentine as soon as it arrives for me. Hoping to pull some high-def caps off it. Gifs are good too! *smiles*

Thanks again!

thanks for your offer, but I'm in Italy, sending the disc to you it's not... the most easy thing to do LOL! beside, it's region 2, so no use for you I guess... :)

Darn RL I had no time to made some gif from CV... I should start now...

You're welcome!!!

You're right, unfortunately. Though I could swing the postage, I can't play/rip a region 2 disc. My DVD drive won't read it. So it wouldn't work, alas. *sighs*

But, if you find yourself with the time, you could self-cap the scenes with just Michael (it's easier & faster to self-cap cuz you can skim the movie & just snap what you need). I have a really easy step-by-step tut for pulling that off @ Whimsi here. If you want, I'd bundle & post & promote the caps for you @ Whimsi (with full cred of course). Looks like your copy is good quality, so you should pull decent caps, no problem.

But only if you want to, of course. *smiles* The more Michael, the prettier! *beams*

AWWW thanks for the link/tutorial. I'll try and made some caps from NW as soon I have enough time! As I said, the awful late 70s/early 80s look is something that must be seen ;)
I'll let you know when I'm done. I so agree, the more MW the prettier! :)

No problem! I promise, it's really easy. Just preset a couple settings and you're good to go! *smiles*

Have fun! Let me know if you need any help!
