Really? You like tennis? I actually have someone who enjoys tennis in my flist? AWESOME!!! XD Like I said, though, I wasn't a fan before three weeks ago, but then I started following the last few rounds of the US Open and I was hooked! It did take me a couple of matches, though, I just kept falling asleep. XD I think the match that made me go "OK, this is rather awesome" was Nadal vs Andy Murray. And then Federer vs Djokovic (my mom and I were totally rooting for Fed, though. lol).
I am a tennis nut! I adore tennis- although I guess I should say I only like Mens and Mixed Doubles. Could care less about Womens tennis. (Yes I know it is a bit weird, but the women just drive me crazy with all their high pitched grunting)
Federer is one of my all time fav players! I've seen him do such amazing things with that racket- as well as make some amazing saves. I once saw Fed run Layton Hewitt off his feet (this is a player known for being able to run down any ball) so much so that Layton didn't even try for some of the balls (something unheard of before!) Great stuff!
lol Well, I've only entered the tennis world now, so I'm still all about men's tennis. Haven't checked mixed doubles, or even "regular" doubles yet (only on the charity matches, which were soooo good! XD), and I've seen a little bit of women's tennis and wasn't particularly interested in them.
Wow! I don't know what it is you just told me, but it sounds really awesome. hehe Fed is absolutely amazing! I wish I had seen more of him in his prime. Though some of the matches between him and Rafa were so good! That Wimbledon final of 2008 had me at the edge of my seat, it was sooooo good!
