And I should definitely thank you for the Daft Punk vid because it's been my go-to vid when I need pumping up for editing. lol I watch it and then I'm all "ALRIGHT, LET'S DO THIS!" XD

HAHAH Yeah, random would be a good way to call it, since I haven't ever mentioned this before. Ever. But it's more in a sense of... this is a vid you made pretty much for yourself, and you had fun with it and that's all that mattered to you, and that's something that I've been trying to keep in mind for this one. Or any vid, for that matter. So whenever I watch it, I'm reminded of that and it helps LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE! :)
Also, the song is pretty amazing and awesome, so that's not bad either. ;)

EXACTLY!!! And that used to be true for every vid that I made, and I'm pretty sure one of the reasons I've been finishing less and less vids over the years, and probably the MAIN reason, it's because I've been forgetting how to do it.
Which is why I think this random vid is important to me (and why I wanna do it before the TRON one). I'm doing it for NO REASON other than I *feel* like doing it and it seemed like fun. lol :)

Ah but see, I think it's a healthy way of doing things even for large fandoms with a huge following. Perhaps even more so in those cases, because when it's a sure thing that I'll get comments, that's when I get more scared. lol ( ... )

Aww, no this is good! It's like vidding therapy. :)

And yeah, I thought I had built that immunity for myself. But just like you said, I made this hugely popular vid, then I got in a bit of a crisis of thinking I had to somehow match that from then on... and it didn't help that not that long after that, I made ANOTHER one that became pretty popular.
And don't get me wrong, I love them with all my heart, but it's like all other projects I had going suddenly went "OK, I feel pretty lame now".

lol this got a lot more personal than I thought it would.

BASICALLY, WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY IS: RANDOM VID IS RANDOM. AND RANDOM IS GOOD. XD
