The Last Two Weeks in TV
I completely forgot to do this the last two weeks, so I'm going to do them now before I get 3 weeks to catch up on.
I promise I'll try to be brief this time around. ;)
The Event 1x02: To Keep Us Safe
OMG ALIENS!!!! \o/\o/\o/
IT ACTUALLY IS ALIENS!!!!! I didn't expect to be right in the first episode, BUT I ACTUALLY AM! LOOK AT THAT! I ROCK!
... Crap! I might going to have to watch this darn show after all...
The Event 1x03: Protect Them From The Truth
HOLY CRAP! ZOMBIES!!!!!!! \o/\o/\o/
I mean... Obviously not zombie zombies, but undead people? Totally calling them zombies.
OH! OH! PLEASE LET THEM BE ALIEN ZOMBIES!!!!! ALIEN ZOMBIES FTW!!!!!
... Also, the girlfriend? Definitely an alien.
Either she is or the boyfriend is. I'm going with the girlfriend, 'cause she looks more like an alien. But my bet is at least one of them is.
House 7x02: Selfish
Wow... House/Cuddy is actually working! I never would have expected that...
House 7x03: Unwritten
Haha! The kart scene was the best! And I don't care what Cuddy says, she was definitely having a good time there.
I don't like Wilson's ex-wife-and-current-girlfriend, though. She's just... ok. I love that she was also a fan of the author, though, that was fun.
How I Met Your Mother 6x02: Cleaning House
Any episode with Wayne Brady playing Barney's brother is a good one in my book.
And the piano scene(s) was(were) the best!!!
How I Met Your Mother 6x03: Unfinished
... You know what? I'm going to have to agree with Lily and Marshall, Ted/Barney really WOULD make a good couple. Hahaha!
I loved Barney seducing Ted, and Ted obviously falling for it.
Glee 2x02: Britney/Brittany
Yes, the dance sequences were well produced and all... but honestly, they put absolutely no effort into trying to make them fit the story in any way, shape or form. They had NOTHING to do with the character's struggles or doubts... or... anything, really.
Still, I guess it's good that we saw Brittany and Santana singing. I love Santana's voice. And they dance well.
I still absolutely LOATHE Rachel, though. I mean... saying that she wants to be the ONLY thing that makes Finn happy?? WHAT THE FRELL, WOMAN!
And don't even get me started on that idiot kid who worships her. That guy is... gross.
Glee 2x03: Grilled Cheesus
Poor Kurt... I don't see why they had to make Kurt seem so bratty in the beginning of the episode, though. I never would have expected him to treat his dad like that. It seemed like they only made him do it so that we'd feel even worse about his dad.
Also, I love Kurt... but that version of "I wanna hold your hand"? I can't say I like it, really.
Finn is really cute this season, though.
Running Wilde 1x02: Into The Wilde
... Yup, still boring.
Running Wilde 1x03: Oil & Water
I think I get why this series is so boring. It's Felicity's fault. She's just "meh". She's cute, but not funny.
Gob's funny. Tobias is funny. The secondary characters are funny. But Felicity really isn't.
I may just give up on this show.
Modern Family 2x02: The Kiss
Awww, this was a sweet episode!
I love Gloria so much! She was so awesome in this.
Mitchell/Cameron was really sweet too. :)

Sheldon is still the best character in this show.

I absolutely LOVE Sheldon's mom! She's hilarious! I'd love it if we could have an episode where Sheldon's mom and Leonard's mom interacted somehow, that would be EPIC!
Communiy 2x02: Accounting for Lawyers
FUNNIEST EPISODE THESE TWO WEEKS!!!!
Oh my, that scene with Troy, Annie and Abed? I was CRYING! I had to pause the episode for a bit because I was laughing too hard. Particularly when they showed up lying down on the floor. I loved it!
Also: yay, Jon Stewart reference! And yay, Rob Corddry!!! He's always been one of my favorite correspondents from the "old days". Besides Colbert and Carell, I mean.
Seeing Drew Carey makes me miss Whose Line, though.
Communiy 2x03: The Psychology of Letting Go
LOL I loved watching Abed's week in the background!!!
OH! And John Oliver should show up more. I love his character and his crazy rivalry with Chang.
The Office 7x02: Counseling
I'll admit I've never been a big fan of Toby, but he was actually very sweet in this episode! And Michael was too. :)
I also loved watching everyone supporting Dwight in his cause. Even though it wasn't really what they expected.
The Office 7x03: Andy's Play
Poor Andy. :(
I still don't get why they split him and Erin. It makes no sense.
Fringe 3x02: The Box

I don't think Alt!livia's evil, though... I mean, she might be now, but I have a feeling being around Walter and Peter will make her join the "good guys"... Which is not particularly good on the Peter/Olivia front...
Fringe 3x03: The Plateau
OK, if the writers wanted me to care about the alternate universe, CONGRATULATIONS, YOU DID IT!!!! I mean... Come on, they've got Charlie! I've always been a huge fan of Charlie and his alternate self is just as sweet and adorable as "our" Charlie was. And Alt!livia's other partner is also a very nice guy... I mean, when his skin isn't deteriorating and his face looking all gross and I can actually look at him, that is.
Frank seems like a really nice guy, too. Which is good! I'm hoping that Alt!livia will still care about him, even after spending all that time with Peter, which I doubt would happen if he wasn't a good guy.
Oh, and I don't think I need to mention how amazing Anna Torv is, do I? Alt!livia and Olivia are two completely different characters, and even when Olivia is acting like Alt!livia, with her memories and everything, SHE'S STILL OLIVIA!!!! How does that woman do that? HOW???
Supernatural 6x02: Two and a Half Men
Watching Dean and Sam taking care of the baby makes me miss the first seasons of this show... Sam is really annoying now.

Right, so... the darkness thing will possess Clark and he'll turn evil, but then the love he has for his friends/Lois/humanity/whatever will bring him back and he'll realize he's the kind of hero the world needs and that's when he will put on the Superman outfit and become the guy? That's how the season will play out?
That still doesn't explain how he'll be able to hide himself behind his glasses.
QI 8x03: Hoaxes
Who else thought the hoax card thing was a hoax right from the start?
But who really cares, though? This episode had David Mitchell and Sean Lock!!! Two of my favorites!!!

Merlin 3x04: Gwaine
Ok so I don't really care that this episode was a total rip-off of season 1's "Lancelot", I absolutely loved the guy. He's great! I loved him, I loved his friendship with Merlin, I loved him hitting on Gwen, and I love that he made Arthur jealous.
What DID annoy me though was this:
EXACTLY HOW MANY "ULTIMATE TESTS OF STRENGTH AND COURAGE" ARE THERE???
And exactly HOW did Arthur survive before Merlin was around, since there's obviously always been a guy there trying to sabotage them?
Merlin 3x05: The Crystal Cave
It's interesting how Merlin got all worried about the vision of Morgana holding up the dagger, but the one of her actually sitting on the throne and wearing the frelling crown got absolutely no reaction out of him...
... And I don't get why Morgana being Uther's daughter puts Arthur in any more danger than he already was before the revelation. He was already the heir to the throne, even if Morgana wasn't Uther's daughter, he'd still be the next in line to the throne if she killed Uther.
OH and Merlin? I love you with all my heart, but STOP BEING SUCH AN IDIOT! You won't tell Morgana about your powers and try to help her, you won't kill her, exactly HOW do you expect to stop her, then???
In other news, Pooky showed up last week! :D
I guess it was only a matter of time before I got all inspired to vid Merlin again... I have this idea for a Gwen/Arthur vid (yes, I'm a shipper. So what? :P) and I really, really, really wanna make it... I EVEN HAVE A SONG AND EVERYTHING!!!! Which makes me really excited, because that doesn't happen often. And I was actually going to start making it after watching "Gwaine", but the preview for last week's episode made me think that there would be more Gwen/Arthur stuff for me to use, which in the end wasn't particularly true, but now the preview for this week's episode has me wondering as well...
On one hand I'm glad they're giving us plenty of adorable scenes and all, on the other hand, I wish they'd stop teasing me with shippy scenes so that I could finally feel comfortable enough to actually start the darn vid! :P
I'm definitely going to wait for this week's episode, though... 'Cause it looks like it might have exactly the kind of scenes I'll be needing for this vid (well, I hope).
