Di v. Final Cut (and POOKY!): The Journey, part III

Jun 19, 2010 02:49

Ok, so the inevitable has finally happened... I completely lost interest in the vid I was making.
I won't blame it solely on Pooky this time, though, I know the new Sims 3 expasion had a lot to do with it (*shakes fist* Siiiiiiiiiims!!!!!!).

This kind of sucks. A lot. But it's weird, I'm not as angry with myself as I've been in the past... I just... lost interest. Completely. It's not like I think the vid wasn't going alright... 'cause it was! I mean, it's not the best piece of vidding ever, but it wasn't an absolute waste either. I just look at the project now and I don't really feel like working on it. The song isn't doing much for me, either.

I'll tell you what, though, the way things are going, I might actually go back to it in the near future.

What does frustrate me, however, is that now I have nothing to work on in Final Cut. I really want to learn how to work with it properly, and that's kind of hard to do when you have nothing to actually do in it.
Besides, I DESPERATELY want to vid Fringe and I'm completely out of ideas now.

The good news is delennbr accidentally gave me an idea for a Doctor Who vid - more especifically, an Eleventh Doctor vid - and it should be really fun. The bad news to those good news, though, it that I really want to wait until the season is actually over to start working on it, which means at least another 2 weeks.
Bugger.

((I suppose no one has any vid suggestions? *puppy dog eyes*))
