LOST 6x01 and 02

FINALLY! A LOST episode review (as everything else around here, the first OF THE DECADE!!!).
I don't even know how long it's been since the last one... and I'm too lazy to actually check, so we'll leave it at that.

LOST 6x01 and 02: LA X
Right... WHAT???
I don't know what was the general reaction to this episode, but I got the impression that people liked it. I actually thought it was absolutely confusing and completely mental, but I'll say right away that that's not necessarily a bad thing.
I had a fantastic time watching both episodes, but mainly because I was just finding everything hilarious.

I don't really know what is it with me and LOST, but I can only seem to take the show seriously when I watch it on DVD. Otherwise I just think it's crazy!

I swear I'll try to take it more seriously from now on.

... but seriously, people! Alternate reality? That's... I don't... Well, ok, it's the last season, I'll just see where they're going with that.
Then of course there's the whole "Jacob is dead but not really" thing... and the "Sayid is dead but not really" thing... and the best of all, the "Locke-who-isn't-Locke-but-still-looks-like-Locke is the smoke monster" thing.

And I won't even comment on the new civilization that showed up, or the fact that they clearly watch Supernatural, what with the dust thingy to keep monsters away.

But the worst of all to me? Last season ended with that really emotional scene between Sawyer and Juliet, where she died... then we find out she's not actually dead, but when Sawyer gets to her, she then dies.
It felt like they forgot to add Juliet's line last season and had to create another death scene out of nowhere just so she could say it.
