Modern Family 1x13
Is anyone else watching Modern Family??
Honestly, people, if you're not watching Modern Family... well, YOU SHOULD BE!
Oh my sweet lord! It's my favorite of the new shows from 2009, by a long shot! (Community comes second)
What makes me love it so much is the fact that it's got so much heart and so much love in it! Everyone in the family interacts with each other, everyone's got good lines and funny scenes, even the kids! It's a true ensemble show, I wouldn't even know who the "main" character is (well, maybe Jay because he's the father).
Every character is believable (Phil was the only one I had my doubts about at first, but eventually he won me over and now he's one of my favorites), none of the couples feels forced, the kids are fantastic... And the relationships! Oh, it's so sweet! They drive each other crazy, but they clearly love each other so much!
Oh, show... so much love!
Not only does it make me laugh out loud, it also fills my heart with joy.

That said, about this week's episode:
Modern Family 1x13: Fifteen percent
OMG PHIL, CAMERON AND MANNY!!!!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!!!
It's actually weird that Phil seemed so "normal" here... He's usually the over-the-top character, like Cameron, but this time he felt so... well, normal. Except maybe for the thermostat song.
And then Haley! Oh, how sweet was she, trying to learn how to use the remote control just so she could get back at Claire? I loved it! And the Phil/Haley and later on Claire/Haley scenes and the HUGS just made me squee out loud! So lovely!
And then there was Jay with Mitchell and his clearly-gay-but-still-closeted-and-played-by-that-guy-who-always-plays-gangsters-whose-name-I-have-no-effing-clue friend... Jay is so adorable trying to deal with his son being gay. I love that he's accepting it and I love his scenes with Cameron.
Cameron is hilarious! I love Cameron so much. Poor woman at the end, crushing on him. I feel so bad for her! She has no clue he's gay!
Speaking of her... Manny! WHERE DID THEY FIND THAT KID???
Oh my lord, he's from a completely different world. I love how one moment you have your jaw on the floor because of the maturity of that kid (or, as Gloria puts it, "He's an old soul"), and then your heart breaks when he gets stood up by his dad.
OH, show, don't ever change!
