This year, I decided I wouldn't have a party or a dinner or anything at all, I just wanted a calm and peaceful birthday, which is exactly what I got.
I also didn't get that many presents, but like I said, I pretty much wanted peace and quiet anyway.
HOWEVER, I did get some pretty amazing stuff!
My mom, who'd just returned from Patagonia, got me an AWESOME leather jacket and I love it. I'd never had anything leather ever, so that was pretty exciting.
Dad got me this:
THE COMPLETE TINTIN!!!! :D
I mean, it doesn't have Land of the Soviets or Congo, but I wasn't exactly expecting them to be there, since it's the English version ("Soviets" being the very first, b&w one, and Congo recently had all those racism issues). But that's not really a problem, since I've got both separately anyway. :D Besides, there's always a possibility that they'll release a Portuguese version of the box, and those two would probably be there... and if they do, I'll obviously get it! *is a HUGE Tintin geek*
So, with my complete Tintin and complete Calvin & Hobbes collections, all I need now is a complete Asterix. :D (GO FOR IT, UDERZO!!!) *is also a HUGE Asterix geek*
But the one present that made me all smiley and giggly was this one that delennbr gave me:
MY FIRST LEGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, people, you DON'T know how long I've been wanting Legos, it's pretty much since forever. I've always loved them but never had them. BUT NOW I GOT ONE!!!
Isn't he cute? I call him Esteban. :D
I don't know why, he just looks Spanish to me.
