DAY 4.2
# Plans for the weekend: Mom's going away for the weekend (as she often does), so two of my friends will come over and we'll play Wii all day. Probably all two days.
YAY!!!
Wiilson will be happy to have more company. :)
# The Office finale... That was perfect. Just perfect. It might be my favorite finale for this show. Yes, it's even better than "Casino Night" for me, I don't care what you people think. =P
But I'll talk more about it under a cut.
The Office 5x2?"Company picnic"
OH, SHOW!!! Oh, show!!! So perfect!
Michael and Holly together again... and Michael proving he's matured since the last time he/we saw her. I love that he didn't tell her in the end... Yes, my heart broke for them, but I love that he decided to let it be. Steve Carell was simply brilliant all the way through here, those little moments when he's looking at her, when they're having fun... You can see how much he still loves her! She's truly his "Soup Snake" hehe.
This has been such a great season for Michael, and Steve Carell himself... Oh, I just love him!
But every other character was great here! Dwight was hilarious throughout, Jim was great and Pam was made of win!
Also, the 'ships! Andy/Erin was adorable, the subtle hint at Dwight/Angela was cute too.
Jim/Pam... wow! They were the best thing about this finale! I had no idea what was going to happen, I'd read no spoilers, so that huge surprise at the end was truly a surprise! AWWW, Jim/Pam!!! They're going to be such great parents! And they were so happy together, Jim was in tears he was so happy. I couldn't ask for a better ending to the episode.
It was wonderful how they were working together with Dwight to get the game going ("We'll be back!" hehe), doing everything they could to get back as soon as possible, and then the very moment they got the news, they completely forgot about everything else. ♥
As for the episode itself, hilarious. And so sweet! I LOVED to see the Scranton branch working together, both for the prank on Michael and at the picnic. Not to mention I love volleyball with all my heart, so there was that too. :)
The Dwight/Jim hug was really sweet. Dwight was really the best, trying to stall them... hahaha "I'll get it!", and his "speech" to corporate. Aw, I missed hilarious!Dwight! :)
Michael and Holly's hilariously unfunny performance was also wonderful... and classic!
The movie shout-outs were fantastic too... "Dunder... dunder... dunderdunderdunderdunder!"
Aw... Perfect, simply perfect!
