DAY 2
# STAR TREK SCREENING!!! ana_br and I went and it was awesome! AWESOME, I TELL YOU! Fans of sci-fi should NOT miss this!
Sure, some of the "science" stuff makes you laugh so much, but then again I think every sci-fi movie should have at least one completely made-up weapon of endless destruction of some sort.
OH and Kirk and Spock rule. Mainly Spock. Mainly old!Spock, because... you know... it goes without saying.
DAY 3
# I actually got to use the super-duper Mac from the cutting room at work today! YAY! That basically means I'm getting to learn Final Cut all by myself, but hey, I've seen those guys using it A LOT. It's not like I don't know *anything* of it by now.
# Spent the afternoon playing Guitar Hero with my friend. Dragonforce's "Through the Fire and Flames" is still the most impossible song EVER! And we were playing on "easy", which led us to believe that no ordinary human being should be able to play that thing on "hard" or even "expert". IT'S FREAKING IMPOSSIBLE!
# We actually tried playing it on "expert" just for the heck of it. We both got thrown offstage in 3 seconds.
I'm not kidding!
It was really funny, though. :)
And I've just realized I've chosen the worst week ever to make this meme... I'll be traveling tomorrow, so it will be pretty tough to post for the next 4 days.
But I'll see what I can do!
