John/Aeryn Pic!spam, part II
I got nothing else to do right now.
So I'll do a picspam!
Because any excuse to post John/Aeryn pics on your LJ is a good excuse.
JOHN/AERYN SEASON 2 PICSPAM!
( Season 1 // Season 2 // Season 3)
This is also aimed at those who didn't watch the show (yet!), just 'cause you can never have enough Farscape fans on your flist. :)
So here we go!
Brief recap for the non-scapers:
So we left last season with Moya going up, up and away, leaving John and D'Argo floating in space and Aeryn on her Prowler with no chance of getting to them in time.
Well, actually, there was one chance...
... and it was by Aeryn making a deal with dear ol' Captain Crais, who had kidnapped Moya's son, Talyn, but was still hanging around, since Talyn was too young to be able to starbust away.
And by this picture, you can clearly see Crais has his eyes on Aeryn... and she's not exactly uninterested either.
And this of course creates some tension with John, who was certainly NOT happy to know that Aeryn and Crais had a deal.
I just ADORE this picture. The look on Crais' face is just priceless! :)
Just so you know... Season 2 is where the angst fest of John/Aeryn begins to show up. It gets a lot worse on Seasons 3 and 4, but still... there's plenty of it here already.
This scene is still just in the early stages, with Aeryn almost leaving with Crais and John going all "Oh no, you're not!" on her.
Just 'cause Crichton was right there, Crais makes Aeryn say that she wants to go with him.
Notice the happy looks on their faces.
This is one of my favorite scenes from Season 2. It's just so sweet and somewhat heartbreaking. Of course it would be a lot worse if she had actually gone with Crais, but she just leaves and goes back not a minute later when both Crais and Talyn go "You know what? On second thought, we don't really want you here!"...
See all the pretty moments that showed up already? And it's all still on episode 1! And they're not even a couple yet!!! *glee*
On Season 2, both John and Aeryn get a new, leathery look that goes on for the rest of the series and it just screams "We're hot. You're not!" to the rest of the universe.
Oh and Crichton also has a new hair style. It's actually really funny, as he goes crazier, it gets "spikier". Just watch!
I love how John has the illusion that he'll be able to stop Aeryn when she wants to shoot things. Especially when she's holding the big gun.
This is actually from a deleted scene. Aeryn gets drunk and John just looks at the camera going "WTF?!"...

AHA! THE HAIR! Look at the hair!!! It's like a freaking cactus right now, which of course means that John is OH so crazy.
Aeryn kinda likes it, but it gets so much worse than this...

Aeryn and John showing how much they love each other. Well, not really. But they do. They just don't know it yet. Or at least Aeryn doesn't.
Anyway, I just wanted to point out how this is unfair: John is holding TWO guns at Aeryn and she only has the one. That's not fair.
The crew is in trouble, so John strikes a He-Man pose while humming "Ride of the Valkyries" and Aeryn says what's on everyone's mind: "We are going to die".
Oh, come on! They're adorable, aren't they?
After a season a 5 episodes, John finally gets pissed that Aeryn keeps the entire universe at a distance and doesn't open up to anyone. Took you some time now, eh buddy?
Still, when the crew gets mad at Aeryn, he's the one standing by her side.
When she finally decides to open up, he's the one who will listen.
And when she breaks down, he's right there to hold her up.
(This is another one of my very favorite moments between them!)
So she tells him her story. Or rather... the one that was causing all that trouble.
Just look at how he looks at her! He loves her so much. :)
So when she starts thinking about leaving the ship, he won't let that happen.
I love this scene.
I mean, come on, Aeryn! You can trust him, what other evidences do you NEED, woman????
This is SUCH a beautiful scene between Aeryn and Pilot.
And if you want a show with muppets that can actually act, this is the one for you. Pilot's expression in this scene is perfect!
Aeryn and Crichton have a cute moment. ♥
I also love Zhaan very much. And this scene is lovely. :)
Trust me, these are John and Aeryn, NOT Aeryn and Rygel. In this episode, they keep swapping boddies all the time. The first time around, John was in Aeryn's body, while Aeryn was in Rygel's body.
I love this one so much! Rygel (in John) asks John (in Aeryn) how to pee. hehehehe
And obviously, being inside Aeryn's body and still being a guy, John just can't help himself.
This time it's Aeryn inside John's body and she tries her best to look cool.
Don't worry, this is not a freaky Rygel/Aeryn or John/Rygel scene, these are actually John and Aeryn with their bodies back. Because, obviously, once they're all ok, what's the first thing these two wanna do? :)
And besides, Aeryn is not mad at John for having fun in her body, because, as she tells him, she had her share of fun inside him as well. :P
... And remember, they're still not a couple.
Aeryn is John's hero.
Aeryn teaches John a few maneuvers on his module, but they soon have some other things on their minds.
BUT Aeryn is still not giving in just yet. Even though she was the one who kissed him.
This episode is actually full of kissing. You just give them some compatibility tests and watch them go crazy! We've got John kissing every woman he meets, Chiana kissing D'Argo and yes, that's Aeryn and Rygel.
I guess the writers were just open to 'shippers of any kind...
But of course the main 'ship? Still John and Aeryn. :)
And being the main 'ship means getting into all sorts of angsty scenes imaginable. Like this episode, where John has to marry a princess, Aeryn is trying her best to stop him but without going "Because I love you!" and it doesn't work, so she gets to witness touching moments between John and the princess.
But if she would just say it, he'd leave the princess behind in a heartbeat.
But does she?
Of course not.
But still, things go back to normal, somehow, and Aeryn and John decide to test if they're compatible for children.
And judging by their looks, my guess is that it's a positive answer, eh? :)

Meet episode 15, "Won't Get Fooled Again", aka writers on crack.
Meet the Band From UT! Right now there's only two members, but it will grow!
Remember what I said about the writers supporting every 'ship? Well, there ya go.
And remember what I said about crack? Well, exactly...
Episode 15 is hard on poor Crichton... Bringing his dead mother back and making him watch her die again? That's CRUEL!
But we soon go back to the crack and the fandom just laughing so much at tough Captain Crais holding a puppy and wearing those red shoes.
They all want Crichton... even Rygel.
Ok, time to stop the crack.
Now we go to John and Aeryn growing old and becoming an adorable old couple.
Seriously, adorable. ♥
And even when they get old, the writers are still able to crush their happy moments in a second.
After old Aeryn dies, old John decides to see what's inside her locket, the one she said had the picture of the "only love of her life".
Who do you think it is??? ♥
When they go back to normal, her locket is full of dust and of course they don't remember anything... do they???
I really like this episode... even though it doesn't have that many John/Aeryn scenes.
But we do have a few... :)
After all they've been through, John is still worried about the way Aeryn protects Crais.
Honestly, John...
To John, any excuse to stand close to Aeryn is a good excuse.
And when he finds out that Scorpy did something to him that is only getting worse, Aeryn is right there to help him keep his focus.
Or rather... help him focus on something else.
Now it's Aeryn's turn to comfort John. ♥
Aeryn is crushed when she finds out that John has turned himself over to Scorpius.
So she goes to Crais and asks for help... Or rather, offers herself in exchange for his help.
This scene will come back to haunt her in the future.
Farscape is full of the weirdest aliens ever... This here is Natira. She's weird... Beautiful, but still weird. And she looks like what Zhaan might have been if she had gone to the dark side.

Remember what I said about Aeryn being John's hero? Well, there ya go. He's sitting in a corner, being useless, while she comes up with the plan for all of them to escape and leads the operation.
OH! And she also knocks him unconcious 'cause he was just getting in the way. :)
John going literally insane and Aeryn is there to get him to his senses.
It's not enough, though. And just when they're about to kiss and tell each other they love each other, John's brain is taken over by a chip that Scorpius put in his head.
The chip decides to take Crichton to Scorpius, but Aeryn won't let it.
However, the chip plays a few dirty tricks on Aeryn and lets John have control back on his own mind just so he can sit and watch what he's done.
Aeryn is forced to eject, but she can't separate from the chair as it descends into a frozen lake. John... well, he's not happy.
Like I said...
At Aeryn's funeral (yup, she died), John is not the only one devastated by her death. Even though he's definitely in the worst shape.
He finally tells her that he loves her (a little TOO LATE now, eh buddy???), kisses her and cuts a lock of her hair.
Why? Well... Why not?
When John goes into surgery to remove the chip, Scorpy shows up and steals it along with the part of John's brain that controls speech. So we finish this season with Aeryn dead, John's brain on an operating table and John himself screaming although literally speechless.
How's that for a happy cliffhanger???
