Better late than never...
So today was a good day college-wise... though one of the classes had me feeling way too embarrassed for my liking... And delennbr knows it! She can confirm it. She was there!
OH, jeez...
Seriously, I don't think I've ever blushed this hard since I started going to college.
Let me just say one thing: I don't like being in the spotlight, ok? If anything, I HATE being in the spotlight! When I go to a class, I like to be perfectly INVISIBLE! I'm a chair, or a wall, I'm just NOT THERE! Especially if it's a class on a subject I know absolutely nothing about.
But this new teacher? He just looked at me and, god knows why, he then had this idea in his head that I was this perfect student! He ellected me his "assistant"! Every once in a while, he'd turn to me going "Oh, she knows everything!" or whatever... He called me TEACHER! I'm no freaking teacher!
Sure, he's a really funny guy and a great teacher, but lets just set one thing straight:
I AM SHY!!!!!!!
*breathe*
Ok, RL rant of the day over.
Lets move on to subjects my flist is actually interested in.

1. GARY OLDMAN
I think this one didn't come as a surprise to anyone who's known me for a while now...
Well, I've been obsessing with Gary for quite a long time now (can't remember when it started... probably when I watched "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern") and it just never seems to stop! It just gets worse as time goes by. I just love him in every way! He's my favorite actor, he looks like he's a great guy (intelligent, funny, dorky), he's BRITISH!... and he wears glasses! I have to admit I have a *thing* for guys wearing glasses...
No matter how many other actors I come to love and admire, unless something changes completely in the universe, Gary will always come first in my list!
Besides, look at that smile! I just melt when I see that smile!
2. HUGH LAURIE
What can I say about Hugh?... Well, it's HUGH!
I think I got to know him when I started to watch "House". I mean, I had watched episodes of "Blackadder" and "A Bit of Fry & Laurie" before that, but I was so little I could hardly remember anything about him in them. But I adore him as House and now I've just gone back and watched some older stuff with him... and I love him even more! He's a great actor, he's also British... he has that lovely accent and he's full of that British humor we all know and love (well, I do, at least).
[Note: It took me a while to figure out who shoudl come in second, Hugh or Stephen... Eventually, I went with Hugh 'cause not everything that Stephen did was THAT good, and I really wanted him to come right before Jon. So if he came in second, Hugh would have to come in fourth and that's unacceptable!]
3. STEPHEN COLBERT
"Stephen, Stephen, he's a handsome man, his name is Stephen!" (Oh, that is a catchy song!)
I came to know Stephen through the "Daily Show"/"Colbert Report". And I still love Stephen to death because of the "Daily Show"/"Colbert Report". I think he's hilarious as his character on the "Report", but what I truly, truly love is the Stephen Colbert, the actor. He's such a great guy! Really, I love him more with every single interview I watch with him.
Not to mention I can really relate to him 'cause he's a D&D player, he's a LOTR nerd (the biggest I've ever seen!), he's a fan of "House"...
Plus, he DANCES! And dancing!Stephen is the pure definition of love!
4. JON STEWART
I got to know Jon when I watched him hosting the Oscars in 2006. Before that, I'd never heard of him... Seriously. Only some time later I first watched a clip of him on the "Daily Show", and, of course, I fell in love with him.
He's funny, he's a sweet guy, I love his comedy bits, I love his serious bits (post 9/11 speech, anyone???)... Seriously, Jon Stewart is GOD!
5. ROBERT SEAN LEONARD
Aaaah, RSL! I think there are only two things I've ever watched him in: "House" and "Dead Poets Society"... but I absolutely adore both of them, and I'm a huge fan of the work he's done on both, so anyway.
Ok, so I lied, I also watched him in "Much Ado About Nothing"... and I must say he makes quite a lovely couple with Kate Beckinsale!
6. KIEFER SUTHERLAND
Right, so I was never a Kiefer Sutherland fan until I became obsessed with "24", which was quite recently. But now I just get this urge to go back and watch some of his movies again... 'Cause I'm sure I've seen some, I just can't remember any in particular.
But yeah, I'm loving him as Jack Bauer and I watched a few interviews with him that made me start loving him as the actor. I mean, look at that picture! He's such a dork! And, well, admit it... he's really, really cute! And hot!
7. STEVE CARELL
Oh, poor Stevie, coming this far down the list! *hugs Steve*
I've absolutely no idea what was the first thing I ever saw him in... I know it wasn't "The Office" or the "Daily Show"... but at the same time, I just can't remember! Anyway, this is another case of "I started loving him when I watched some interviews with him". 'Cause that's exactly what happened! He's such a lovely guy!
And I also LOVED him in "Little Miss Sunshine"!
8. EWAN MCGREGOR
Another favorite actor of mine, Ewan can play basically anything. He's great in romance, sci-fi, drama, thriller, action... Well, he's great. Period.
He's a truly wonderful actor, a really funny guy, and he played Obi-Wan, my favorite "Star Wars" character EVAH! How could I NOT love him????
9. DAVID TENNANT
This is all delennbr's fault! She's a major David Tennat fangirl and she's infected me with some of her fangirlyness!
Of course, the first thing I ever watched him in was "Doctor Who" (right, so, it was actually "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", but he played such a small role there!) and I loved the job that he did as Teh Doctah. But what truly got me liking him this much were all the other stuff delennbr's shown me of him... Particularly that adorable short film, "Traffic Warden". That was so brilliant and sweet!
10. JOHN CRICHTON BEN BROWDER
John Crichton! :P For me, Ben will always be John Crichton from "Farscape"! That's the first thing I ever saw of him, and no matter what other roles he gets, I'll always remember him as Crichton. Which is not really a problem, 'cause I love Crichton!
