This wee monster is keeping me busy. He is now 18 months old - today! Scary stuff. He is now issuing commands. For example "Mummy, stand up!" is a favourite. He is very curious, talkative, busy and affectionate. He likes to run, dance and find out how things work. He is fantastic fun and I'm very proud of how he's developing. Especially his speech, it is terrifying how sponge-like he is when it comes to words. We have to be so careful about swearing, which frankly is bloody difficult when you drop something or hurt yourself!
Not much else to report, I am still roughly the shape and weight of a killer whale. I had a fantastic relaxing day at a spa with Mother on Sunday thanks to J. My toenails are painted for the first time in over two years, I hasten to add that this is not for my benefit since as far as I'm concerned the only way I know they are still there is because I am able to walk. Occasionally I manage to read a little. Work is mainly a bag of shite, since they are hugely unsupportive when I have to take time off to look after Kyle when he's sick - which is sadly very frequently. Still hoping for a huge lottery win so I can fulfill my lifelong ambition to become a bone idle billionaire. Other than that, we appear to be living in the North Pole. Snow and ice as far as the eye can see, doesn't look like it's going to be shifting anytime soon. On the plus side, it does give me an awfully good excuse to stay in, ram Christmas chocolates in my mouth and drink tea - hurrah!
