Windy pops
Well here I am at home, that was a short day! The police came into our office at 12.50 to say slates had been flying off the roof above (we have another 3 floors above our office) then smashing onto the pavement, so they had to cordon it off. They said that we would be at "great risk" when entering and leaving the office, so they recommended that we close. The boss took some convincing, but she agreed. So we all trooped out wearing hardhats!
It was an interesting drive home, the wind was whipping puddles into spray, branches were littered all over the road and I had to keep driving into the wind to avoid been pushed into the oncoming traffic.
Who knows if we'll be able to open the office tomorrow as there have been severe weather warnings issued.
