Mirrors (Poem)

Mirrors

I stood in a hall with nothing but mirrors.

Not only infront, behind, and to the side,
but at the cross-corners as well.

Moreover, the ground was a mirror.
The ceiling a mirror, although a translucent one.

There was nothing but images of myself.
Repeating in the mirrors.

Promising forever,
and a universe,
but it was all
an illusion.

In reality,
I was alone.
