Peace and Rest - A Commentary on Blessings

Aug 26, 2012 09:04

Sometimes a blessing is a curse in disguise.

For example, the saying 'rest in peace',if you say it to a living person, implies that you want them to die and never rise again, but if it is said to a dead person, it implies that you want their soul to peacefully go to the after-death (which some call the afterlife) and have no regrets, and thus, remain peaceful. If you follow the Wheels of Reincarnation, then it is also a wish that the dearly departed may skip the Stage of the Vampire, where they are a dis-embodied soul with no reflection, no tangible form of their own, but blood-thirsty.

If you ever find yourself in that form, you can drink milk or vagina juice instead of blood, and purify yourself with this Living Soma, so that you will become a more Ascended form: a "True Ancestor" rather than a low-level vampire driven by your own desires.

Or, so goes the rumor.
