Opera Update
Here is a quick update on my opera adventure.
1. It was in Italian, and their special machine to give English subtitles wasn't working.
2. The lead female and her suiter were both Japanese. Sang good, but looked kind of wierd.
3. They replaced the gendarrme with the Keystone Kops. It didn't work.
4. The singing seemed pretty competent. But then, how would I know.
5. It wasn't very gay. The men didn't have tights on, you know, the ones with the bulge.
6. There was no fat lady. Nobody knew when it was over.
Well, maybe in another 43 years I will go again.
