Teen Wolf Re-watch
I just re-watched the first season of Teen Wolf and realized two things:
1) The whole first season takes place over about 5 weeks, 6 weeks at the outside. It kind of puts a different spin on what the common fanon assumptions are.
2) The writing is actually really, really bad. It's just chock full of plot holes and inconsistent characterizations. Most fanfic makes far more sense.
The show has a fantastic cast and some very impressive cinematography that often successfully distract from the writing problems. I still really like the fanfic, but the show itself isn't holding up on first rewatch. Also, I haven't watched the first half of season 3 yet, but from the spoilers I've come across I strongly suspect the outstanding acting isn't going to be enough to spackle over the plot problems anymore.
