This "victim"'s story is spurious. Dig the photo and notice how the B is carved backward -- as if she was looking in a mirror and doing it herself. Give it a few days and see what happens with the story. It's highly likely that it's completely manufactured.

Also, really, that picture of her was ridiculous. The shiner wasn't actually swollen, just dark -- like eyeshadow. She had no trauma to the eye (there should have been some red, broken blood vessels in there). And the "carved" letter wasn't deep, jagged, or scratched enough to have been anything but self-inflicted.

I'm not a doctor. I've only been a legal volunteer at Family Court where women file for Protection from Abuse orders.

She's apparently had mental problems in the past (ya THINK?) and is apparently even so stupid that she did it in front of a freakin' mirror, not understanding that it would come out backwards.

If she weren't a mentally disturbed moron, I'd go so far to say that her actions are a deeply offensive insult to crime victims and domestic violence sufferers everywhere. The race-baiting jerk.
