Why not.
Getting sick at the beginning of reading week, and having it be the most serious illness you've had since at least middle school kinda sucks. There's certainly worse things that could happen, and my thoughts are with those with bigger things on their minds, but I feel fairly justified in being grumpy the last several days. School has been pretty rough lately too. Being sick hasn't helped the fact that I got cocky this semester. Last semester was by far my most academically impressive at Reed, and this semester I was planning on a repeat. Of course, I forgot how much work that would involve, and now I find myself vaguely wondering if I passed everything. That said, I have kept myself busy, and had some great times off campus this semester. I think everyone who reads this or cares probably already knows, but I'll be in Baltimore most of the summer, making up for the fact that freshman year blew. I'm actually pretty excited for the most part. I'm also hoping that over the summer and into the fall I'll be able to pursue a few things more seriously, namely climbing, ultimate, and car stuff (which is of course why I'm dumb enough to do physics again). I'm sure I'm forgetting other important news in my life, but I suppose LJ isn't the way to keep up with my life anyway, so I think I'm going to just go to sleep...In the library of course, because that where I have been all night, and I think that I might actually sleep better here, slightly propped up, considering the viral exanthem and all.
