Title: Emotion of a Man

Summary: Losing something you love could be hard.
A/N: This was written for musesinspire sorry it took me so long.
"It wasn't your fault," she told him as she approach him. He hadn't spoken to anyone since it happen since, since the attack.
"Mal say some ...," but she wasn't able to finish that sentence.
"What do you want me to say Buffy? That I am okay. That it's water over the bridge." He was angry. Angry at her for being here. Angry at himself for letting it happen.
"Inara wouldn't want you to do this to yourself." She whisper.
He didn't say anything. It was his fault that she was death. It was his fault that she wasn't here. He didn't notice Buffy getting closer to him. He didn't even notice that she had sat next to him on his bed.
"You can't close yourself in here. She would want you to live. Live for her." At those words he place his head in her lap and started to let it all out.
At that moment. Mal wasn't the captain. He was the man that had lost the person that he loved.

"I have to do this," he said in a whisper to her.
"No you don't, you don't have to go out there. You don't have to be the damn hero!" She responded to him.
"You better than anyone knows that I have to do this, you are the slayer Buffy, you know that life comes with sacrifices." He told her. He slowly started walking towards her. He couldn't bare to see her in pain. But he had to face the machines. He had to go out there. He was John Connor. The leader of the resistance. The future savior. If he didn't stop this war right now, no one would be able to stop it.
"I know, but I don't want you too." She told him in a small voice. Tears where running down her cheeks. He whip away her tears as he told her, "I love you," she started to cry as he said those words. "I love you so much," he said one more time before he took her face and kissed her. As soon as the kiss started it ended. He was gone into the dark.
"I love you too," where her last words to him.

Summary: Meeting new people is a good thing
A/N: This was written for flareonfury sorry it took me so long.
He was in a world that he did not know. He was here to represent his people. Coming to this world to show them that they where a peaceful race in a time of peace. Legolas has never been away from his home world. But he wasn't scared he knew that this was for the greater good of his people.
Once he looked at the group of student he saw one of them that stood out of all of them. The girl with the chocolate brown curls and big chocolate brown eyes. As he started at her he knew that he belonged here. This was his place. As he looked down the list he continue to call out the names of the students that would learn more about his people.
"Hermione Granger," he called out. As he was the girl with the chocolate brown eyes walking towards him he smile. This was destiny.

"You have to," she slowly pull back to see his face. She placed a kissed in his lips, but as she was going to pull away he deepen the kiss. Once they finally pulled away, they stared at each other eyes.
"Promise me that you will come back Hermione. Promise me please."
"You know I will."
