I have a really busy travel schedule this summer. That week is my free week between a trip to the PCUSA General Assembly (out national governing body meeting) where I am volunteering with a group whose main goal is ordination of GLTBs and a month long trip to northern Europe. Otherwise... I could go incognito! I'm not sure I want to be the kind of person who goes to science-fiction conventions with her son!

I was actually going to try to get my son and his partner to come up with me, but they had already planned something else. We did go to a Neil Gaiman reading together, so I guess technically I'm the kind of person who at least goes to SF events with her son. And his partner. And sometimes partner's mom too. And son of a friend. It just goes on getting weird.
