The kid sister of my best friend from eighth to tenth grades -- the pudgy, chipmunk-faced, braces-wearing kid sister of my best friend from eighth to tenth grades -- has married Geraldo Rivera.

Your best friend's sister marries Geraldo. You went to college with the director of "But I'm a Cheerleader".

I went to elementary school with someone related to Judy Garland. My mom went to a wedding of her best law school friend and ran into Deforest Kelley (obviously, several years ago).

Gee, I guess I do, too.

My father's cousin was once married to Leonard Nemoy, who of course played Mr. Spock opposite to Deforest Kelley's Dr. McCoy on Star Trek, who went to the wedding of Masq's mom's best law school friend.

Which makes Masq and me... Absolutely nothing! (sorry, I couldn't resist making a "Space Balls" reference!)

You are a poster on the discussion board I run and we even met once at a board meet and we swap posts on LJ and sometimes I send you pestering emails trying to track down Liquidram (at least, i think that's you...)

So that makes us friends, which means 1 degree of separation.

I was just thinking of that scene from Space Balls that was a send up on the "Luke I am your father" scene from Star Wars. And besides, 1 degree of separation wouldn't allow me to do any name dropping!

As for tracking Liquidram... that's a bit of a sore point for me, as one day, I simply stopped hearing back from her. I have no idea what I had done to make her no longer want to talk to me, but it's become rather clear that she doesn't. 'fraid you're on your own when it comes to tracking her down.
