Boring, boring question

Does anyone know of a good wireless router with a USB port for my printer? My mother's AirPort has a USB port; but of the routers I looked at, the only one that declared which sort of printer connection it had used a parallel port. I'm not planning to task the network too heavily, so 802.11b will be fine.

Thanks!

Um, not sure of your friends list, but you might have better luck posting this at atpo?

My friends list is excellent! And I can't be bothered. Oh, maybe I can.

My husband the computer programmer/Internet impresario (aka psydeshow) says, "Why don't you just get an AirPort?" Feel free to take the matter up with him if you want.

If you get an airport, don't make the mistake I did. Get one with an antenna port (you'll have to pay for a dial up modem, too, I think. I didn't realize that the regular model didn't have an antenna port and didn't see any reason for paying for dial up). You can use airport with wintels. Or if you decide on an airport without an antenna port, get one with an antenna port and I'll swap you. And pay the extra. Or on the other hand, I'll charge you $50 for the information that to make it work you have to power cycle the cable modem. (That information is well worth the charge for avoidance of time wasted.) You want me to bring mine when I come? I'll have to dig up the software. You can test the range.

If you read the Times Magazine article, you'd know that LiveJournal has done away with any need for credentialing; of course, had you read the Times Magazine article, you'd know that all the cool kids are getting Xangas.
