This semester has had its ups and downs so far, but i like it. One thing though, I am going through so many lifestyle changes it has left me exhausted!
~Working out at the wellness center, going from not exercising to going at least three times a week, has made me sore among other things.
~I'm trying to eat more healthy, taking a health class you tend to feel guilty if you don't.
~My behavior change project involved me getting to bed before midnight from now on, which was a challenge (and with my friends it still is), but makes me feel better.
~I am also getting more into environmental actions; recycling, reusing, composting. That part is easy, it is trying to convince everyone else to do it that is hard.
Side note: did you know that plastics #3-7 are not actually recyclable? they make you think that so that you will still buy their product guilt free. And plastics that are dyed different colors won't get recycled either. And those bins at the front of grocery stores for you to bring your plastic bags back so you think you are recycling, they actually just throw them in the dumpster after they close.
Not to mention just the strain of work 25 hours a week, class 10 hours a week plus homework and Casa 8 hours a week is starting to get to me. I try not to be a flake but it still happens time to time. At least Josh got a second job so he has more to do during the day.
I just keep reminding myself that this workload is only for this semester, I am making a difference, I am helping, I am making myself a better me. Things are only getting better.
Plus I get to see Ashley this weekend, yay!
